John and Margaret were both born in England during the reign of King James the First.
John and Margaret came of age and married in England just as the great migration was
getting underway.
John ventured ahead to check things out and establish himself. He quickly obtained
land grants in both Watertown and Hingham. In 1635, Margaret joined her husband in Massachusetts.
Their youngest child, Mary, married Joseph Church. John and Margaret Tucker were the
great-great-great-grandparents of Phoebe Bailey, who married Isaac Hathaway Jr.
