Elliz and Grace Barron came from Ireland to Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, in the late 1630s. Their daughter, Mary, married Daniel Warrin, who was the grandfather of Rebecca Warren, who married Isaac Hathaway Sr. Elliz and Barron are therefore Rebecca's Great Grandparents, and our Barron immigrant ancestors. Even though they were not among the original settlers who came in 1630 on the Winthrop fleet, they made a large contribution to the town's early days and are considered to be founders or Watertown.
